SUMMARY:Artists' Workgroup: Intro Meeting
DESCRIPTION:CANDLE is looking for artists with lived experience with disability\, mental health\, or substance use/recovery to join our winter Artists’ Workgroup. \nPurpose: This group will work together to design a series of art-quality posters around the theme “Disability Visibility.” Posters should highlight the reality of living with disabilities from a peer perspective while encouraging alternatives to substance use. Posters will be showcased during CANDLE’s Fall 2025 Data & Art Walk\, an event to highlight the coalition’s work to reduce substance use within the disability community. \nFor more information\, contact Dave Deckard\, Artists’ Workgroup Facilitator at dave.deckard@aticortland.org.
